2026 FOUNDERS DAY FESTIVAL Join us as Rockwall marks its 172 birthday with the annual Founders Day Festival on Saturday, May 16! This free, family-friendly event takes place in Downtown Rockwall and Harry Myers Park, featuring a day packed with entertainment, activities, and live music. Festivities kick off downtown with the Rockwall Farmers Market (8 a.m.–12 p.m.), and a wine walk sponsored by the Downtown Association (12 p.m.– 4 p.m.). At Harry Myers Park, the celebration continues from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with bounce houses, a ninja course, live animal shows, a vendor market, and a food court. The evening brings high-energy performances to the main stage at Harry Myers Park. Band announcements coming in April! A free shuttle will get festivalgoers between Downtown, Harry Myers Park, and various parking locations for your convenience.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
A determination of weather-altered plans will be made on the evening of the concert. Check the Parks and Recreation Facebook page for weather-related posts on day of. No news is good news.

VENDOR FAIR
We’re excited to offer a vendor fair at the Park this year! From 1-5 PM at Harry Myers Park, will feature local makers, sellers, non-profits, and community groups! If you have a tangible product to sell or want to bring fun games/activities to share with the community, we want YOU to be part of this event. Vendor Fee: $50 for a 10x10 space (up to two spaces per group). Sign up link coming soon!

EVENT PARKING
A free shuttle will get festivalgoers between Downtown, Harry Myers Park, and various parking locations for your convenience. Check back for maps and schedules.

HARRY MYERS PARK
Come enjoy this beautiful City Park with swimming pool, community building, restrooms, playgrounds / KidZone, dog park, walking trails, recreation / baseball fields, ponds, amphitheater, splash pad, BBQ grills, gazebo, pavilions, drinking fountains, natural open space, disc golf course and pickle ball courts. Certain amenities (pool, community building, disc golf, and baseball fields) may be closed during the festival.
